Danny K loves store's showers

When staff at On-Tap plumbing franchise spotted Danny K in their store, shopping for bathroom and kitchen fittings for his new home in Gauteng, someone turned on the thought taps and thought… “What about a partnership with Danny K?”

Danny's response was a resounding “Yes!” when he was approached by the plumbing franchise regarding the possibility of a brand association for a limited time.

“On-Tap offer cutting edge sanitary ware that is both stylish and functional,” says Danny when questioned about his alignment with the brand, who added that the franchise staff's service levels and expertise impressed him when he was out buying fittings.

Other draw cards for Danny were the generous variety of products on offer and the open plan showrooms full of uncomplicated displays, which contribute to an effortless decision making process. Best of all though “is the shower wall with fully functioning showers right in store!” exclaims Danny.

The plumbing franchise has served and supplied the South African building industry for the past 17 years and has recently expanded its repertoire to focus on South Africa's design and home conscious market.

Danny will be lending his face and celebrity appeal to the brand for the purpose of in-store activations, advertising material and PR purposes.

Meanwhile, franchise stores around the country are undergoing extreme makeovers transitioning into consumer friendly retail environments enabling consumers to interact with and test products in their modern showroom-style stores.

The showroom look borrows from current international trends, which incorporate cleaner displays, an exhibition style approach to showing products, brand specific displays which allow the brands to showcase their products more effectively, interactive working displays so customers can test products in store and a strong focus on complimentary lighting. This, in combination with open, flowing spaces allows customers to get an idea of the bigger picture when designing or re-vamping their kitchen or bathroom space.

“Customers now have the opportunity to view products by brand, and also get exposure to a large variety of international trends. The customer can view ranges in brand specific segments, which often assists in the selection process, as a specific style or theme is easier to follow. They also benefit from on-the floor advice and guidance from our experienced staff,” explains Peter Jefferson, On-Tap franchise manager.
