Wholesale trade sales up 6% in March
Sales were measured in real terms using constant 2012 prices.
Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales decreased 5.2% in March 2014 compared with February 2014. This followed month-on-month changes of -0.4% in February 2014 and 3.4% in January 2014.
Seasonally adjusted wholesale trade sales increased 1% in the first quarter of 2014 compared with the last quarter of 2013.
Measured in nominal terms‚ using current prices‚ wholesale trade sales increased by 14.7% in March 2014 compared with March 2013.
Wholesale trade sales increased by 15.4% in first quarter of 2014 compared with the first quarter of 2013.
