New trio from Waterkloof

Waterkloof launches its new trio for the Circumstance collection - the 2009 Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah. Considered a good vintage, the cool growing conditions allowed for a longer and slower ripening period, which ensured grapes with a high natural acidity and packed with flavour.

The Merlot, which goes well with braised lamb and venison fillet, has a recommended retail price of R140 per bottle and the Syrah, also at R155 per bottle partners with lamb or sirloin steak, flavoured with rosemary or thyme or hearty casseroles.
