New milk lollipops

Trade Kings SA will launch Milkit, a lollipop which incorporates the wholesome taste of milk, with other flavours in an 18 gram unit. They are available in mixed bags of strawberry and banana; lemon & lime and bubble-gum; crazy caramel; magic brownie and original ice-cream in two pack sizes; retail pack sizes of 8 and wholesale pack sizes of 48.

According to Lee Bezuidenhout, the company's marketing manager, "The lollipops are made from real milk and last longer than the average lollipop, providing your taste buds with an unmatched satisfied experience."

The organisation is a subsidiary of a wholly-owned Zambian company, which began in 1995 and quickly established itself as an exporter of a quality range of manufactured products in five export markets.

Initially importing confectionery products made by its parent company, the South African company began manufacturing chews and hard-boiled candies at a factory in Crown Mines, Johannesburg.

"South African confectionery lovers are always hungry for alternative, innovative and tasty products, and this product provides that. The combination of a creamy milk element and the sparkling flavour of candy produce a taste explosion, leaving a lasting effect on your taste bud memory," concludes Bezuidenhout.
