Editors from 50 special interest magazines across Europe singled it out as their number one mobile phone, highlighting its style and design features and the easy way it can communicate with just one hand. This follows the earlier announcement that it received the Red Dot Product Design Award 2010.

"Over time, the relationship people have with their mobile phones has changed significantly. Consumers have moved away from using them as pure communication tools to creating a more personalised entertainment experience. As a result, mobile phones are growing in size. The company has identified the need for a compact and powerful mobile phone with all the benefits that come from a smartphone platform."
