A new alternative in armchair shopping

Boardmans has launched its first in a series of home catalogues, featuring a range of home merchandise from kitchen appliances to bedroom, bathroom and décor accessories. In a move toward convenient shopping, South Africans can use this guide to shop in three ways: in-store, online or telephonically.

Internationally, a large number of home retailers provide their customers with simpler ways of shopping. Creating a ‘one-stop-shop' to offer easier access to product for local consumers in the form of a catalogue was the next logical step for Boardmans.

“Global retail is moving to cater to more fast-paced lifestyles in South African society. What could be more hassle-free than buying products at the click of a button? Online retail is a phenomenon in international markets and a growing trend in South Africa. Retailers are constantly developing more convenient ways for their customers to shop – most of which don't even need you to leave the comfort of your own home,” says Vikashinie Maharaj, home living product manager, Edgars and Boardmans.

A free copy of the catalogue can be collected at any Boardmans store nationwide.
