What is cloning?
A clone is an exact backup of your entire hard drive as is - from the first block of data to the last. It backs up all your data, as well as your operating system, system settings, preferences, e-mail and installed software. Restoring a clone will format your PC exactly the same as it were on the day you created the clone.
Clones can be restored on existing or new hardware and even virtual machines in case of hardware failure (after replacement or repair), theft or when upgrading.
