SoloSTAR® is an easy-to-use disposable insulin pen that uses 30% less force when injecting – in comparison with other leading brands. It also boasts the highest dose range of disposable pens with a single dose of up to 80 units, adjustable in 1 unit steps.

SoloSTAR® is available for use with LANTUS®, the number 1 basal insulin analogue sold worldwide with a once-daily 24-hour action profile, and the rapid acting insulin analogue APIDRA®, which offers a faster onset of action and a shorter duration of action than regular human insulin.

Unique to the SoloSTAR® range is the colour coding of pens for each insulin. The LANTUS ® pens are purple worldwide, whereas the APIDRA ® pens are grey. Both of which are currently available in South Africa.
