Telmar acquires Peaktime
With offices throughout the world, Telmar services the media planning needs of the leading advertisers, agencies and media in 25 countries. The merging of Peaktime's leading broadcaster and agency client base throughout Europe adds customers in France, Spain, Portugal, Germany and Poland to the combined company to make up a total of 30 countries served. It also adds a new office in Paris to the global Telmar support centers.
Some of the many advantages of the combined organizations to Telmar Peaktime users worldwide include:
-- Greater resources available to all clients.
-- All Media Systems and Data Integration - TV, Radio, Newspaper, Magazines, Internet, Outdoor and Media Mix plans can be created and optimized simultaneously using strategic targeting or demographics.
-- Anytime, anywhere software access - all Telmar Peaktime software available via the web via eTelmar2. This new service will begin this fall.
-- Expanded scope and efficiency of software agreements - local, regional and global media planning needs can now be accommodated with a single set of software and a single agreement.
-- Return On Investment Media and Marketing Mix Analytics.
"We have worked hard to make all current users of Peaktime TV Planning and Yield Management systems comfortable and pleased with this new association," said Richard Dodson, President, Telmar Peaktime S.A.S. and Managing Director of Telmar Europe.
Commenting on the affects of the acquisition on the advertising industry, Stanley P. Federman Chairman and CEO, Telmar Group Inc. stated that, "Global expansion and competitive consolidation are the facts of life in today's advertiser, agency and media environment. To better serve these growing, global requirements, the Peaktime acquisition will ensure Telmar Peaktime clients of an expanded scope of software, data management and R&D resources to meet their growing needs."
Telmar maintains regional offices in Amsterdam, Brussels, Cape Town, Chicago, Hong Kong, Johannesburg, London, Los Angeles, New York, Paris, Shanghai, Toronto and Warsaw.
