d'Ouwe Werf Hotel changes ownership
The Petousis family who own the popular Vineyard Hotel and Spa as well as the Townhouse Hotel, both situated in Cape Town have announced the acquisition of d'Ouwe Werf located in Stellenbosch.

The four star d'Ouwe Werf situated on picturesque Church street is one of the most historic hotels in South Africa, having been established in 1802. The property is located in the heart of the university town of Stellenbosch and shares its long history with the Vineyard Hotel and Spa, which was built in 1799 as the home of Lady Anne Barnard.
All existing rates and contracts will be honoured and the current staff and systems will remain in place. The new owners are keen to use their years of experience in the hotel industry to enhance and improve, where possible, the service and systems in this professionally run hotel.
