Wine & Design connects creatives in Cape Town, Johannesburg
Platform45, web and mobile app developers, has recently conceptualised a series of events called Wine & Design, which provides an informal social setting for creatives from all spheres of the design world to connect and celebrate design in both Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The event will be held in a fresh space each month, with a different guest speaker from the design field at each event. Fashion designer Isabelle Lotter from SIES! Isabelle will be the guest speaker at Il Giardino at 44 on Stanley in Kempton Park, Johannesburg and feature illustrator Alex Latimer will be chatting to guests at Latitude 33, 165 Bree Street in Cape Town next week Wednesday 31 July 2013.
Co-founder of Platform45, Neil Henegan says, "We came up with Wine & Design because we wanted to create an informal social setting for designers to connect. As software developers, we use design to integrate people as closely as possible with the software. User experience is everything and design creates the user experience."
