International Judge for 2004 Loerie Design & Promotional Marketing

The South African Graphik Design Council, think, is pleased to announce that it has secured, on behalf of the Marketing Federation of South Africa, the services of Harriet Devoy, to serve as International judge for the 2004 Loerie Awards Design and Promotional Marketing categories.

Devoy is creative director of The Chase, London, formed in 2002. The studio consists of just four designers specialising in design for print. Clients include The Royal Mail, Yellow Pages and Cabe - Commission for Architecture and the Built Environment.

The studio's work received its fair share of praise in 2003 - a Gold award at Art Directors Club New York, a Silver nomination at D&AD, a Best in Book from Creative Review Annual and a Design Week Award. Design Week magazine positioned The Chase as the third 'most creative ' studio in Britain, and Devoy was chosen as one of the '10 leading graphic designers in Britain' by the Independent on Sunday.

Prior to setting up the London office, Devoy spent several years working at Johnson Banks where she collected a variety of awards for her print work - including two yellow pencils.
