Fly on the Wall director, Bryan Little, says: "I felt an immediate engagement with the brief and felt that I understood the dire need for films which portrayed the people of a contemporary Africa which are true to their lifestyles and reflect the solidarity and diversity of a proud people in a continent full of myths and ancient cultures juxtaposed with an increasingly westernized Africa."
The general theme for the two PSA's is derived from African oral traditions where the voices of the continent are the means of communication in song and spoken word.
