Bizcommunity.com has determined that there will not be a Black Cube handed out this year. The Black Cube, which is set up as more than just a best-in-show and is reserved for a piece of work that truly goes above and beyond all other winners, is solely at the judges' discretion. The first-ever Black Cube was awarded to TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris Johannesburg in 2010 for its Trillion Dollar campaign, also for The Zimbabwean newspaper.

The 91st awards will be celebrated during the ADC Creative Week at the ADC 91st Annual Awards Gala on 8 May 2012 at Espace in New York. At the awards gala, the club will announce the winner of its second-annual ADC Designism Award, honouring work for a non-profit that drives social or political change.

In addition, recipients of this year's Agency of the Year, Network of the Year, Design Team of the Year and School of the Year honours, based upon a cumulative points system, will be revealed.

The exhibition of winning work opens 9 May at the ADC Gallery with a happy hour cocktail reception, 4pm-7pm, and runs through 24 May.

Dream Real is not an actual award winner and should have been deleted by ADC before the spreadsheet was finalised but it was overlooked.
