Loeries CEO Andrew Human steps down

BREAKING NEWS: Andrew Human will end his tenure as CEO of The Loerie Awards at the end of February 2012, stepping down after seven years at the helm, it has just been announced today, Friday, 7 October 2011.

He will, however, be staying on with the association as an advisor and as a member of the committee.

"I would like to thank Andrew for his dedication and commitment to continuously improve the Loeries," comments Boniswa Pezisa, Loeries chairperson. "His passion for creativity and creative excellence is what has propelled the Loeries to become the industry benchmark that it is today."

According to the press statement, "After the success of The 33rd Annual Loerie Awards in Cape Town just weeks ago, Human leaves a great legacy behind him - a fertile ground for his successor."
