Management changes at The MediaShop
From 1 January 2011, Chris Botha will be promoted to group MD of The MediaShop, Virginia Hollis will continue to act as MD of the Sandton office and Sean Clarke, in his role as operations director, will continue to oversee IT, legal, finance and HR. Harry Herber will be freed to concentrate on key client relationships, help develop young talent within the company and focus on new business opportunities.
"In order to stay differentiated, be in a position to introduce new thinking and also examine opportunities that will enhance our client offering - we looked at the roles and responsibilities within The MediaShop," explains Herber.
"With any advertising business, new and exciting developments are continually coming to our attention, but getting to them is the problem. The new structure will, we believe, allow us to get to both the urgent and the important. It will offer our clients a more focussed and more improved array of services, with an enhanced product and a broader but more focussed contact base."
Botha adds, "The pace of change in media today is phenomenal. We have to stay at the cutting edge and continually re-evaluate how we do business, and what business we do. The team recognises this and will always strive to deliver new and differentiated solutions to our clients.
