McCann-Erickson named 'Agency Network of the Year'

McCann-Erickson has been awarded the prestigious "Agency Network of the Year" title by the European Association of Communications Agencies (EACA), in its recent Euro Effies awards.

The Euro Effies take place each year to recognise advertising effectiveness with the aim of supporting and promoting the role of advertising as an effective and efficient use of marketing resources.

The Euro Effies were introduced in 1996 as the first pan-European advertising awards to be judged entirely on the basis of advertising that builds brands across borders. In 1968 the Effie Award was introduced by the New York American Marketing Association and is currently held in 21 countries worldwide.

Referring to McCann-Erickson's "Agency Network of the Year" nomination, the EACA stated, "McCann-Erickson's impressive record in terms of winning effectiveness awards is integrated into its Demand Chain methodology, covering every aspect of demand creating from the initial product concept, through to integrated communications solutions."
