    Cadbury bites through communications problems

The latest chocolate offering from Cadbury could forever change the way in which people could meet their soulmate... if the advertising is to be believed in the latest fun commercial flighting on television currently, to launch the new chocolate bar called 'Question' to all LSM groups.

'Do I do it for you?' The 'choccie' wrapper asks and the chocolate itself is moulded with a 'yes' and a 'no'. In the advert, this is used by a shy teen to approach a girl who caught his eye at a very lavish house party.

Nicky Nel, the Creative Director from Red Nail, the ad agency who created it said: "The theme for both adverts is all about making communication easier."

When asked how he won the pitch, Gold Loerie winner and film director from Fresh Eye, David Golden said: "Firstly the agency creatives were open to all suggestions, which made it easier. I really tried to up the performance stakes of the two scripts and the party advert, which was set in a lavish house in Houghton, had to look like it was the 'bash of the year' and hopefully I achieved this."

He continues: "The only hiccup in filming was the winter freak storm we had in Johannesburg about two months ago, which hit on exactly the night we were filming the external shots. However with strong production support, we managed to work around it."
