Loeries Migrate showcases the sinfully creative
All of these, and more, are the expression of the Seven Deadly Sins - Loeries style. Migrate, The Loerie Awards magazine, is available this December, showcasing a compilation of some of the best writing, illustration and photography that the industry has to offer. The Seven Deadly Sins edition was opened up to international contributors and the content reflects talent from as far afield as Beijing, Bristol, New York and Minneapolis.
"Finding the right mix of contributors was a challenge," says Roanna Williams of I want to be an astronaut and creative director of Migrate. "But we received amazing work from very talented creative individuals all over the world."
The cover of the latest edition of Migrate is designed by South Africa's own, Loerie-winning Am I Collective, which scooped the Grand Prix for their Scrabble Campaign at the awards ceremony this year. A previous edition of the publication also came away with a Gold Loerie for design and a Craft Certificate for writing.
"Migrate represents a fantastic opportunity for the industry to express exactly what the Loeries seek to reward - creativity," says Andrew Human, managing director of the Loeries. "Our contributors take the theme and go wild with it, using their craft - be it writing, illustration, photography or design - to show exactly where their creativity can take them."
