With the Augmented World Expo USA starting 29 May 2019, Johan Walters is in on the ground in San Francisco. Here's what he's looking forward to from three days filled with AR, VR and everything in between.
AWE (Augmented World Expo) is the world's most essential AR+VR conference and expo, with annual dates in the USA, Asia, Israel and Europe, as well as meetup chapters around the world.
With over 7,000 attendees, 250 exhibitors and over 300 speakers, Johan Walters shares what we can expect using the Zappar app that has been developed to feel as if you were right there.
Over the next couple of days, Walters will be sharing with us some snippets of keynotes by Apple, Facebook and Google, as well as augmenting journalism in the New York Times, the use of AR at National Geographic and the much anticipated music event, "Coachella"; how the Ellen Degeneres AR App has influenced broadcast entertainment and the legalities of 'owning the augmented space'.
