Chabane to attend African Editors Forum
The event, expected to be attended by editors and media leaders across the continent as well as government leaders, is scheduled to take place in Kigali, Rwanda from the 27 to 29 November 2012.
The African Editors Forum is a gathering of senior editorial executives of media in Africa and will be held under the theme "Media independence for Africa".
Chabane will represent the South African government at the discussion around how the continent can improve its image and what is the role of editors in this regard. The forum debate is hosted under the theme "The Image of Africa: Roles and Responsibilities of Political leaders and Editors".
