Mobile-XL provides Nairobi Stock Exchange access
LOS ANGELES: Mobile-XL, a mobile technology company, on Saturday, 28 March 2009, announced that it is partnering with Rich Management, Nairobi Stock Exchange Authorised Data Vendor, to provide real-time stock prices to mobile audiences. Consumers can use Mobile-XL's XLBrowser to receive stock quotes.
"The agreement between Rich Management and Mobile-XL provides easy access of the Nairobi Stock Exchange to a broad audience. People will be able to quickly obtain stock prices without being tied to a computer or relying on an often unstable and sluggish internet connection." said, Nishet Satchu of Rich Management.
The XLBrowser is a mobile phone application that utilises SMS to provide instant access to global and local information using certain mobile phones. The XLBrowser's interface allows a user to select and receive information, news, sports, finance, entertainment, games, music etc.
