Vodacom commissions Nail Outdoor for mission impossible in DRC
Lawrie Golding, Director Marketing, Vodacom urgently needed first world signage in the DRC. To get the job done, Vodacom commissioned Nail Outdoor, the outdoor company with proven experience and courage.
Nail Outdoor, already successful in 14 PanAfrican countries accepted the challenge, commissioning 27 sites in record time. Without going into detail, Operations Director Zena Brown divulged that the logistics were "exceptionally difficult and complicated. We leased, and filled to the doors, four cargo configured Boeing 7474s to lift material and heavy equipment to the sites, but the team coped, and that’s what counts!"
Nail Outdoor was formed when New Africa Investments Limited purchased the interests of Natanya Signs, and since then Randata and Significant Signs. The team spirit is contagious, the company operates as a unified team where all enjoy success, even the parent company. The Black Empowerment credentials influenced the bureaucracy and cleared obstacles allowing everyone to go the extra mile on behalf of Vodacom. Nail Outdoor had the skills to get the job done quickly and professionally, despite the distances and logistics of being in the very heart of Africa.
