Sweet success for Brewster
Marcus Brewster Publicity Johannesburg has won the PR account for the launch of Hershey's Chocolates, marking a bumper third quarter.
Hershey's, the largest North American manufacturer of chocolate confectionery, will debut initially with Reese's Cups, Nutrageous, Hershey's Cookies n Crème and Hershey's Kisses among others. Hershey's currently accounts for 37% of the US chocolate market and its popularity has spread across Europe and the United Kingdom. Siaco Trading was awareded the distribution license in South Africa.
In the media sector, further new business signed in the past three months includes radio station Jacaranda 94.2 and New Agenda, the journal for South African social and economic policy. Billed as "Your soothing companion", Jacaranda is one of South Africa's largest and most successful commercial stations. Edited by ANC MP Professor Ben Turok, New Agenda carries editorial and opinion that shapes and communicates South African socio-economic policy.
