Ad waffle. Smoke and mirrors. Over-promise and under-delivery. Lack of market knowledge and dare I say it laziness. I see quite a bit of it in the South African advertising and marketing place. Don't be offended if you work in the industry, I also see some quality people, great ideas and forward-thinking concepts, but in my opinion I think it's fair to say that the recession is a good thing for marketing and advertising in this country. 11 Sep 2009
