Concept Interactive has been recruiting candidates for the National Certificate: Interactive Media Learnership over the last month and it has been a very hard decision to select only eighteen as the talent and quality of work demonstrated in the majority of the portfolios of these previously disadvantaged candidates has been exceptionally high with the majority of them having attended two or three-year courses at CPUT, AAA, Ruth Prowse and Stellenbosch University, some already with industry experience. 21 Apr 2009

According to an article in Mail & Guardian of 9th January, 2009 “about 22 000 more matric candidates achieved university entrance in 2008 than in the previous year, but many cannot be absorbed into an overtaxed tertiary education system. Education Department Deputy Director General, Molapo Qhobela, conceded that the universities were full and urged matriculants to look to FET colleges, which offered ‘excellent vocational training'”. 20 Jan 2009

Concept has re-affirmed their approach to the value of Adobe accreditation by assuring that they are up with the leaders of the pack and are currently one of only two training institutions in South Africa to have a lecturer with ACE (Adobe Certified Expert) status in Flash as well as being the second training provider with ACE in both areas of desktop publishing and web design applications. 17 Jan 2008
The end of November sees the class of 2007 graduating with impressive portfolios.
