It was founded by Vanessa Sand, CEO of AA Travel Guides in 1986.
The main activity of the company is to maintain a database of 15 000 plus products which keeps track of tourist accommodation of all types including hotels, lodges, guest houses, B&Bs, suites, resorts, holiday cottages and flats.
It also covers transport including car hire, scheduled coach travel and activities for tourists including museums, art galleries, shopping, restaurants, tourist sites, etc
