Learn to be a fun and dynamic trainer and facilitator who can retain the interest and enthusiasm of learners with this three-day course.
Technical or content expert? But how well can you communicate your expertise? Vacant stares, yawns being stifled, all too familiar?
How do you bridge the gap between being the specialist and a coach? How do you avoid death by PowerPoint and information overload?
Learn to be a fun and dynamic trainer and facilitator who can retain the interest and enthusiasm of learners. This programme is aimed at people who are new to the training environment or for those who have not had any formal training in the skills of group training and facilitation.
Overview: In this workshop our focus is on building participants' confidence and capacity to train and facilitate effectively. This is done through a personal development journey as well as mastery of basic facilitation competencies. The greater the self awareness, and the bigger the tool box, the more likely is the facilitator to respond creatively and appropriately to learners' needs. This practical workshop exposes participants to a variety of learning methodologies which stimulate whole-brain learning.
