There is something seriously wrong with this picture. Its because of things like this that South Africa has and always will remain a third world country.

This country is on one heck of a downward spiral. Whether or not they are able to come out of it remains to be seen but I would not bet on it.

Let me put it this way
As much as I would love not to be a citizen of this joke of a country, I unfortunately am. Thus all the crap that is happening in this country does affect me.

You might ask that if I feel this way why don't I just leave. If it were that simple and that easy I would be long gone by now. I suppose you have every right to be Proudly South African, but I do not share your view in any way. If the bad outweighs the good(such as in the case of South Africa) then I have every right to feel the way I do.

Yes Lulu it is true, it was on morning live again this morning ... the sad part is that the decision makers can afford to pay that bit extra or perhaps they will be excluded from such fees as part of their perks ... I love my country but everything is getting ridiculously expensive ... i drive a 1,2l palio .. 2 years ago it cost me around R220 to fill up my tank, now it's around R390 ... next week petrol is going up again by about 0.72c ... i'm totaly stressed out cause i've really stretched my budget as is ...
In the near future i will have to pay a fee every day to get to work ... what bullshit!! I'm getting so frustrated and feel so bloody helpless ... when will it end ... is this what we need to put up with because of the bloody world cup ...

You know, there is lots of money in dagg*! No really... if it can be legalized and taxed...we wont have to pay much. Also, unemployment would decrease. It can be made in to a regulated business, then packaged and sold in packs of 5's.

I must laugh at the dagg* comment. You know that stuff makes you loose precious brain cells right? So we'll end up having a lot of stoned people around, who are worth nothing while thy are working.
I am also very stressed about all this prices going up and up, it freaks me out. Salary is not increasing soon, cause there's simply no money for that. We have to move now to get closer to work, simply to save money. This sucks, the country is going down tooooo fast for my liking.

It no longer exists.

All that is left is just another African banana republic.

The people tasked with running it are completely unable to do so effectively and are definately not capable of fixing the things they have broken or allowed to slide.

With the current 'government' in place, there is no way that things will improve and South Africa will continue to decay.
